HISTORIC MUSEUM The Arnprior & District Museum is situated in the former Post Office built in 1896.  The curator, Janet Carlile, and the staff of museum look forward to showing you a glimpse into the rich history of Arnprior. Arnprior hosts many tournaments, and even blood donations. Hockey is sponsored in part by the town and the Arnprior Packers are represent in the Eastern Ontario Junior B Hockey League, Curling was established, as a open-air sport in the Arnprior area, around 1865. The Arnprior Curling Club now occupies a 4-sheet building on Galvin Street (est. 1970). More and more, each and every resident of Arnprior has a family doctor.  The Town of Arnprior in cooperation with ADMH continues to attract doctors to work and live in Arnprior. Child care is a big part of the community and has much to offer for working parents. Public Library Arnprior has been able to provide a full service library to its residents for many years. In the short term, there will be two full floors to better serve the growing population, along with the Arnprior and McNab/Braeside Archives.
