ARNPRIOR
Something for everyone!
Twelve neighbourhood parks,
walking trails, a stand of old growth
forest and a recreational trail
provide plenty of opportunity for
cycling, walking and running.
Shopping - proud to be local.
There’s everything you need to
provide for your family; and certainly
all you would ever need for all the
everyday household items to
maintain, improve, or upgrade your
home.
HISTORIC MUSEUM
The Arnprior & District Museum is
situated in the former Post Office
built in 1896. The curator, Janet
Carlile, and the staff of museum
look forward to showing you a
glimpse into the rich history of
Arnprior.
The Museum houses a great
collection of artifacts and
photographs that you can peruse at
your leisure. Come and see the
new Kenwood Mills exhibit, the
1928 fire engine, scenes of early
20th century domestic life, Charles
MacNamara, our own ever-
changing lumber exhibit, the
museum's tribute to the Lair McNab
and our most recent acquisitions
which include an early 19th century
canon and a major new building.

Health Care - and Local Hospital Care
Arnprior has been served since 1945 by the Arnprior and District Memorial
Hospital. By early 2011, the Hospital will have a new and larger
Emergency Department, along with many positive changes impacting local
residents. For more info, please visit their website here.
Arnprior also has a Primary Health Care Centre adjacent to the hospital. More
and more, each and every resident of Arnprior has a family doctor. The Town
of Arnprior in cooperation with ADMH continues to attract doctors to work and
live in Arnprior.
Arnprior also has a wide range of health care, from optometry, chiropractor
offices, a wide range of counseling, and much more. Child care is a big part of
the community and has much to offer
for working parents.
Public Library
Arnprior has been able to provide a full service library to its residents for many years.
In the short term, there will be two full floors
to better serve the growing population,
along with the Arnprior and McNab/Braeside
Archives.
Through the talents and dedication of the
staff of the Arnprior Library they proudly
offer many fun and spectacular programs
for young and older children. Visit their
website for more information!
